This is a question we get asked far too often and we get it, leaving your pet for a period of time can be unsettling to both you and the dog but it is also important that we don’t feel rushed when caring for your pet. There are many factors to the time it can take and always depends on the size of the dog, the service, any medical conditions, anxieties towards grooming your dog may have etc. For XS, S and M size dogs we aim to complete a service within 2hrs. For L, XL and XXL our aim is to complete the service within 4 hrs depending on the job.

The most important part of our job is to ensure that each dog in our care is groomed in a safe and comfortable manner and sometimes that might mean allowing the dog to have breaks, spending time with your dog to settle rather than getting straight into it or ensuring we take it slow to minimise risk of injury to ourselves and the dog if they are difficult. 

If you require a specific timeframe please notify us before the appointment and not on the day at check in so that we can organise how best to manage your desired timeframe.

Rest assured, we do our best to adhere to timeframe requests but only always at the best interest in your dogs comfort. 

This can be a tricky one as what’s a tidy to you isn’t always a tidy to us so the best way to know is if your dog requires any length taken off of the body.

A Wash&Tidy means that after the bath and blow dry we only focus on giving the eye area, feet and hygiene (bottom) a trim whereas the Full Works involves a whole body haircut (even if taking the tips off of the length)

That’s ok and we understand work commitments, school pick up etc can get in the way of collecting your dog straight away. All we ask is that you let us know upon check in or text us notifying us. If your dog is left with us longer than an hour after you’ve been notified, we add an aftercare fee of $20-35 depending on the length of stay. This fee is extra time that we have to be responsible for your dogs safety, toileting, play and cuddles

In circumstances that you’re not going to struggle to collect your dog at all, we offer a drop off service to your home. Our transport/taxi service is $20 which covers transportation insurance, fuel and time out of the salon to get your dog home. We will call you to take payment over the phone and ask that you request this service upon booking if you can
